"Understanding Me" is a powerful photo/video exhibition that explores the LGBTQIA+ community’s journey with gender and pronouns. It made its debut at the Museum of Contemporary Art Long Island on May 8th, 2021. I had the privilege of working directly alongside co-creators Danny Chamberlain and Lex Barberio, filming the documentary, which features 12 diverse models sharing their personal stories. The interviews were compiled into a 30-minute short film, soon to be showcased in film festivals. Additionally, I animated Lex Barberio’s logo at the beginning of the film, infusing it with a striking neon glow that complements the aesthetic of the exhibition.
